Pippi - Peppi

My 8yr old loves colour and stripes. I originally thought this "a brighter and a more colourful the better" - phase would be over soon, but nope - she just loves colours. And that is exactly what I get to knit for her then...
Fortunately there are some self striping yarns that are actually nice to look at , like this one from Schoppelwolle. Happy socks!

I made my daughter a new pair of stripy socks to replace the old ones (that are completely worn out)

Pattern: None - basic top-down sock with a garter stitch heel & toe.
Yarns: Schoppelwolle zauber ball & Gjestal Janne
Needles: 2,5mm dpns


Neuloin uudet raitasukat keskimmäiselle tyttärelle korvaamaan vanhat, jo täysin puhkikuluneet sukat.
Taisin ajatella, että neidon rakkaus väreihin ja raitoihin ja kuvioihin laantuisi jossain vaiheessa, mutta ainakin toistaiseksi värit ovat edelleen pop. Ja mikäs siinä - ihan virkistävää saada neuloa värikkäitä asioita, kun itselle kuitenkin tulee tehtyä huomattavasti hillitympää... 

Näistä tuli kivat, ihan perussukka ylhäältä alas neulottuna. Kantapää ja kärki on edestakaisneuletta kontrastivärisellä langalla. Näillä mennään taas jonkin aikaa...

Nice to make something so colourful, especially during the grey winter :) Very nice socks, your daugther is lucky to have you as a mum.
